Industeel France has just registered an order of over 50,000 tons of clad plates from EEW, a leading German special pipe producer. The plates will be delivered between February 2018 and November 2019. Clad plate is the combination of a carbon steel base with a layer of stainless steel or nickel alloys. This combination makes it possible to combine the excellent mechanical properties of carbon steels with the high corrosion resistance properties of stainless steels or nickel alloys.
The order is for a project in the Middle East.
