A monumental sculpture called « Les Braves » designed by Anilore BANON, is exhibited on Omaha beach since 2004.
Created on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Normandy landing, « The braves » serves as a significant tribute to the courage of the Allied Forces soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the liberty of peoples and as a reminder to coming generations that those who died did so in defense of the values of tolerance and freedom.
